What has the maestro been doing over the last few years? I know about the Wagner highlights CDs on Naxos and the seemingly-aborted Kern-Herbert project. Has he been conducting live anywhere?

What a shame that the Herbert project didn't happen. It's shocking that there are so many American operettas that were smashes in their day, and most of them aren't even recorded. It would have been a perfect project for Naxos.
