John Selya not in Movin Out?

Does anyone know why John Selya isn't in Movin Out anymore? Did he get injured, take a leave of absence, or leave for good?

Just curious. I'm going to miss him, big time.

I thought I saw an article on Playbill.com that said John Selya, Elizabeth Parkinson and Keith Roberts is returning to Broadway Movin' Out on Feb. 8, but I went to look for it again, and I couldn't find the article.

Can anyone else verify this?

I am assuming that Ashley Tuttle has been in the show all this time, since she listed as a cast member.

Would love to see the original leads in the show~ Can't wait!

Hmmm. If you go to the official website, John Selya has been replaced. And I just don't understand if he to is coming back.

That article makes it seem like he is still in it.

John has been participating in the workshop of Twyla's new Bob Dylan project. Ron Todorowski, the former matinee Eddie who has been leading the tour for the past year is filling in as Eddie in the broadway cast currently. He will be with the broadway company through the end of Feb. He's AMAZING. I promise that you won't miss John if you see Ron in the show.

I have no doubt that he is amazing. Everyone in that show is incredible. I wish I was amazing so I could dance it, just for one night.

John Selya in the new Bob Dylan project would be incredible as well, though. I'm seeing it again in the city in April, so I guess John will be back.

I see the tour next week, and I am equally excited about that. I love myself some Movin' Out.

I saw Movin' Out last Thursday and sadly, John was no longer in the playbill.

However, one of his replacements, Rasta Thomas, is the most beautiful dancer I've ever seen in my entire life! He does all of the matinee performances as well as Thursday evenings. If you have a chance to see a performance at any of these times, take it. Rasta is not to be missed!

Ron's just temporary, I believe he came in for five weeks about two weeks ago. So John should be back by the end of the month.

Ron is SO INCREDIBLE it's not even describable. Very acrobatic and does a lot of moves Selya doesn't that are very impressive. Plus, he is much younger looking, and it brings such a fresh and different feel to Eddie. Love him!
