Considering that Barrett has only been working with puppets for a few months, he does a really sensational job as John's understudy.

But John really has that "cupcake-able" something extra going on. :)

I think everybody's contracts are up for renewal in July. I'd say it's time for a nice fat raise for the Q-cast!

What are you talking about Barret isn't as comfortable with the puppets, or he doesn't have enough distinction between the parts. He does both of those really well! In fact, I think his Rod is a little better because it sounds less tense.

Keith is(or was, depending on who you talk to on the board, I don't know) John's boyfriend.

Having seen both John and Barrett, thats what I think. I think that Barrett was good but he wasn't 100% puppet comfortable and that I didn't think his separation vocally between the characters was as distinct as it should have been. It should come across like there's two different characters all together to where you don't even realize the same person is doing both.

okay.. comparing John and Barrett is NOT really a good thig. John has been a puppetteer for YEARS and YEARS. Barrett never picked one up until he started Avenue Q... so...... what do you expect? You have to take them at their merit/experience I think.
