Yes, John and the rest of the AVENUE Q family come out after the show, and yes, they do sign.

They are also without a doubt the nicest and friendliest bunch of actors that you can imagine.

My friend wnet, and got his Playbill signed by the whole cast. He also said they were the nicest people

The Avenue Q cast is very, very, very nice. I waited at the stage door (or rather, behind the little fence thingies) and I got everyone's signature. At some point, they all had to borrow my Sharpie(s), and all thanked me for it. When Rick Lyon signed my Playbill - it was an ad, but the page was totally blank, don't ask me why - he drew a picture of Trekkie Monster with a little speech bubble that says "PORN!" inside. He was so sweet. Agggh, they're all so sweet and nice.

John Tartaglia is the ONLY actor I have ever heard thank his fans for waiting at the stage door.... He and the rest of the cast are so sweet. They'll sign for everyone thats there, and will actually engage in long conversations with you! I love them!!!

Yup, I wouldn't worry about getting to see him. He'll come out, sometimes really fast and sometimes it takes a little longer but he definitely will come out and be VERY appreciative of people waiting for him.

When I saw the show in October, John actually apologized for taking so long to come outside! He thanked everyone and was so gracious. You couldn't meet a nicer cast in general - all of them are so sweet and really want to be there for their fans.

John Tartaglia has got to be one of the NICEST human beings I've ever met in my entire life. So appreciative, so humble, and a person who just makes you feel happy when you're in his presence. Maybe it's because he was on Sesame Street for so long, I don't know, but if more people in the world could be even half as great as him, I know the world would be a much better place.
