I saw him in "When Pigs Fly," then "Jekyll and Hyde," and finally "The Producers." He truly has a gift that is overlooked. His beautiful voice and diverse acting abilites are priceless. We should soon seem him hit it straight for the top. Anyone agree?

He used to have an unofficial website, but I do not think it exists any longer. If you know the Jekyll and Hyde CD well, he has the solos of "They're all in cahoots," and "till we walk the fine line we'd all cross if we could," and "so we stay on our guard." He has a very rich tenor voice.

The problem with actors like John and Brad Oscar is that, no matter how talented they are, the brass don't seem to feel they are leading man material. Which is ashame. I'd hate to think that we can't make room for people who are SO talented just because they don't fit a mold and would love to see these guys get a starring role. If the right vehicle comes along for something that doesn't require a pretty face, I think they will but I don't see why people who aren't drop dead beautiful can't do leading man and woman roles -- early Broadway never seemed to shy away from that but the fact is that if Fred Astaire were alive today he wouldn't be considered leading man material in the movies, right?

Amen to that SamIAm. Thanks for your input...I strongly agree. Nowadays a pretty face will do it over talent. That is why broadway is losing its flame.

When I was in NY to see Aida in March, I desperately wanted to go see The Producers instead. Obviously I didn't win out on that one, but after Aida I high-tailed it over to the St. James for no real reason. Standing outside in his Franz Liebkind costume was (I did not know it at the time) John Tracey Egan. I recognized the costume and asked if I could get a picture with him. He is the sweetest man and graciously agreed, even though the post-show mob was taking over the area. He even held up the cast signed window card they were selling for BC/EFA saying "We should get Nathan and Matthew in this too."

In a sweet turn of fate, I was able to see The Producers the following week. When Franz made his entrance I leaned over to my mom and go "I met him!" But turns out John was out that day! I'm hoping when I go back in August he'll be in so I can finally catch his performance. I can't wait to hear the singing voice that matches that wonderful personality. But I will treasure that nice little moment outside the St. James forever.

I saw him as Roger DeBris in Producers and he was hysterical. The powers-that-be must have thought so too because they switched him over to Franz when Gary Beach came back. So somebody up there likes him.

I think John has played every role in The Producers except Ulla--and I can not WAIT to hear his "When You Got It, Flaunt It"!!

Seriously, the guy has incredible range as he has given solid performances as Franz, Roger, and Max.

He is also a super nice guy.

I don't chime in that often with praises...but when I saw JT's name, I had the urge. John and Brad are just gems!, both onstage and off. They both deserve every opportunity that comes their way in this business.

I'm very sure they both are estatic about their journey since the ensamble of Jekyll & Hyde. JT sub-let his apt."generously" to a friend of mine while on the road and Brad Oscar claims he has scars from "pinching himself" to see if this all really happened to HIM! What goes around comes back around.

I've seen JT at several concerts and I agree 100%!! And he's a lovely man to speak with... He was marvelous when he had the oppportunity to perform the role of Utterson in Jekyll & Hyde. He's extremely talented, has a beautiful voice, and certainly deserves more credit than he's gotten in the past.

Brad's a very talented fellow, too. Yes, they are two great guys.
