JohnTartaglia's Contract

Does anyone know when John (and the rest of the OBC actually) are leaving Avenue Q?
Idina: Somehow I got myself to the stage, came out at the end of the show, and I had some kind of closure.
Some guy: You looked great!
Idina: Thanks...I WAS SO HIGH! 8/21/05

re: JohnTartaglia's Contract

All of the cast has been signed on for another year, but, I believe(someone from the cast correct me if I'm wrong) all of the performers have an "out" in their contract. So they do have the option of taking something else. But, Stephanie has said several times how much they all love the show and want to stay with it as long as possible.
Word. Word, indeed.

re: JohnTartaglia's Contract

Ann is leaving for a few months.
But hopefully she will be back.

re: JohnTartaglia's Contract

They're all talented, but not 'breakout star' talent (at least to me) like Raul Esparza or Kristen Chenowith. They're smart to stay employed as long as possible.

re: JohnTartaglia's Contract

Watch what you say about them. They are HUGE!
And if you don't think so, I do so watch it.
Probably the most talented and nicest performers I have ever met and interviewed.

re: JohnTartaglia's Contract

midtown, it's admittedly hard to have a "breakout" performance in a show that's dependent on ensemble and the chemistry therein. That being said, I think Johnny Tags definitely has the "IT" and I look forward to seeing him in many other things in the future.

re: JohnTartaglia's Contract

I didn't say they weren't nice! I don't think they're huge either. They're all good, just not breakout. They all belong on Broadway, OK!?!

re: JohnTartaglia's Contract

Ok. But they are giants to me.
All of them:
The Stage Managers
Stephanie, Jen, John, Amyee, Rick, Phoebe, Nick Lugo, Peter and Jeff Marx.
The nicest in town.

re: JohnTartaglia's Contract

Avenue Q lotto: 1 win, 19 tries
RENT lotto: at least 5 wins, no idea how many tries
Wicked: 11 wins, no idea how many tries (40 or so)
JOHN LITHGOW I just realized, your last name is Butz! Both "Norbert" AND "Butz" are in your name! You must have gotten picked on a lot as a child!

re: JohnTartaglia's Contract

Q lottery: 2 wins, 4 tries
Wicked lottery: 1 win, 4 tries

Good record, eh?

re: JohnTartaglia's Contract

Ann (Harada) will be leaving soon to have her baby, it should be in about a week or so that she leaves. During the time she's gone Ann Sanders will be playing Christmas Eve.

However, everyone should still be in it come January unless, of course, there are the normal absenses that people take, etc.
And hang on, when did you win the discus?

re: JohnTartaglia's Contract

wicked: 2 tries, 0 wins
Rent: 3 tries, 2 wins
Avenue Q: 1 try, 0 wins

..I would LOVE to win ANY of them!
