Just saw the show & it was great. Somehow the western music sounded like doo wop.
On Sunday afternoon, the last 3 rows were empty. It will be a struggle for it to survive. It is a pity as the show is a hoot. They sell a CD of 6 songs from the 12 song score. No idea why they just did not record the whole thing
I saw the show (more than once) and loved it!! (I'm wearing my "Johnny Guitar" t-shirt today). The cast was great! Hopefully, by spreading the word to posters here and to friends/family at home, it may have a longer life.
Congrats to everyone involved in the show (past and present)!
I noticed it won an Outer Critics Circle Award and is nominated for a Lucille Lortel Award. I'd love to hear more opinions on the show.

Did not care for it. Cast was wonderful-Ann Crumb in particular. Music stopped the plot-line cold (some rather nice). Worst of all it was pretty much a 5-10 minute "Carol Burnett" sketch streached to the max. I smiled all the way through but very seldom laughed out loud (which I believe is what the creative team wanted.
Well worth seeing for the cast.
Just my opinion, I may be wrong.
This show was also on my list, how long will it be running?

Ann Crumb is a hoot in the show! It's hard to believe this is the same actress who was so bland in ASPECTS OF LOVE.
Great show . I hope all the various nominations will prolong its run

Ann Crumb and Judy McLane both played Florence in two different proecutions of CHESS I saw in California.
Both were good.
Put me in the cateory of loving it...went a few weeks ago, and it was only 1/3 full.
Wish I saw Ann Crumb in "Aspects" - love her on the recording
this was a great show...i saw it three times..the songs are funny and completely campy which adds to the humor and ann crumb and judy mclane are fantastic.
branded a tramp..very funny.
