I'm going to see Johnny Guitar tomorrow, and I wanted to know about their cast recording... Do they have a CD? I heared that they have one, but then on playbill they said that they are going to record it in June.. (?)

They sell one at the theater. It contains 6 songs. Since they have announced a cast album, save your money & wait for the cast album.

$5 -- but I don't think it is the cast singing on it.

It is the cast but still wait for the cast album

It's not the cast. Michelle Pawk sings the role of Vienna and Joel Higgins (the composer/director) sings "In Old Sante Fe" as Johnny. I think its definitely worth the $5.
