Joining Drama League?

I'm curious as to whether or not it is advantageous to join The League.

They're a little bit vague about the perks you get.  Do you get discounts or seats you wouldn't be able to get otherwise? Is it worth the $100 if you see a lot of theatre? What are the perks? Would you recommend joining?

Revisiting this post from a while back ...

I've been a member of The Drama League for about a year and it's been fine so far. I'm guessing a decent number of people are like me and don't always take advantage of all the perks. I'm also in NJ and think I would participate more if I were in NY.

When they publish their Drama League dates for shows the tickets are often discounted, which is great. One bummer for me though is that TWICE I've purchased a ticket during a presale, only to have it show up on the League a little while later for less money. Believe it or not both times it was actually for the exact same night I was going. It would be great if they  announced their dates sooner. (And I've seen them announce dates for shows when tickets are still in presale so it seems that it's possible).
