Jonathan Groff will be performing a benefit show for "The Ephrata Playhouse/Ephrata Performing Arts Center" on March 27/Twenty Seven! The website should have details soon and if not, the phone number is on there somewhere......

Did anyone else think that this was a Benefit Concert in support of Jonathan Groff, based on the title? (sorry, maybe it's just me because it's relatively early...)

Nope, he is performing a concert for "The Ephrata Playhouse". Sorry for the misconception!

I think this just made my day. Not only will it be ten days after I see Spring Awakening for the first time, but it's the day before my birthday and I live like 30 minutes from Ephrata

I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.

I'm a student at Penn, first post.

The drive is certainly possible from Philadelphia. But aren't Tuesdays Groff's only time off from "Spring Awakening"? That doesn't give him much time to prepare.

Wonder if we can find out how many songs Jon will sing.

I am not sure the drive is worth it (for me) unless he's going to sing seven or eight songs, at least.

At first glance at the title, I too, took into consideration that maybe Jonathan Groff was in need of support and thus some people were throwing a Benefit Concert to help him out. Anyway, that's great for him!
