"Sheena makes her NCT debut as "the Narrator" opposite Ray Walker, as "Joseph", in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Sheena is perhaps best known for her smash hits "Morning Train", "For Your Eyes Only" and "We've Got Tonight", her duet with Kenny Rogers. This two-time Grammy winner also starred on Broadway in Man of La Mancha and Grease and has numerous TV credits. Call early for tickets to see Sheena - you don't want to be left out!"

On a side note: I'm in the show as one of the brothers, Napthali.
I hope those of you in NC and surrounding areas can make it to the show. We have a fantastic director, Casey Hushion, giving this well-known show a fresh breath of air.
Fantastic cast, fantastic team...and the other boys and I wear very, very tight bellbottoms in "Go, Go, Go Joseph!" That should be worth every single cent of your ticket.

Posted: 7/2/05 at 1:03amRay Walker is an amazing singer. As is Sheena Easton -- at least she used to be anyway. I haven't seen her in ages. Any comments on her performance, Matthew?

Michael- Sheena has a beautiful voice. She has an edginess to her voice and performance style. Her Narrator is quite different than previous versions. I can't wait to see her full-out. Ray IS an amazing singer- and a true equal to Sheena.
Great atmosphere in rehearsals...lots of pressure to put the show together in little time- but we're all having a blast.

You know I'll be there Matty Roo. MUAH! NCT is an amazing theatre company to work for as an actor. The shows have been stellar and being a part of them is even better. Definitely a go see. And any show Casey H. directs is always a wonderful experience...from an actors perspective, she's wonderful with her talent...likely because she's been there.
On another note, after "Joseph" closes on the 17th (and you see the FABULOUS Matthew Addison perform), come see what else the BTI has to offer this summer during Hot Summer Nights at the Kennedy.
Some of you have already done so by seeing "The Last Five Years" with Kate Shindle and Nicholas Rodriguez in June. We're doing "Proof" now on stage through July 10 and our next show "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" opens July 20th and stars Michael Hunsaker as Brick. Many of you may remember Michael from NCT's Ragtime, West Side Story or most recently Matthew and I worked with him in "Fiddler on the Roof" at NCT. He's amazing. Don't miss it. www.hotsummernightsatthekennedy.org.

I saw the show today (2pm) as well.
Matthew was easy to spot - only male ensemble member (of the brothers at least) to have a beard. :-P
I loved all the talent in the show. Sheena was a silent "diva" type. THE LIPS SAY IT ALL!
However, I didn't think it was a good show. Nothing wrong with the production - but the show itself. Book and music issues, although some (75%) of the songs are nice.
Overall, it was enjoyable, at least, and the kids were cute!
Wonder how many wranglers they had!
