It takes more than a pretty singing voice to do opera. You have to be able to project and be heard without a microphone.
And no way would Josh be able to sing those tenor parts he loves so dearly.

Posted: 1/10/07 at 9:27pmgorgeous voice...can't handle opera. his range his strange (rhyme!! lol) he can't sing the traditional baritone because he can't go traditionally low and he is not a tenor...i like him where he is..good enough for me

Posted: 1/11/07 at 10:05amI think you are probably right in that he enjoys what he is doing right now. He is more or less in charge of his own career. He can pick the concert dates and appearances to fit himeself and not others. A jump into musical theatre would mean he would be at the mercy of others and the demand might be too great for him. While he tours a lot, he doesn't do that many performances per week. And we all know how strenuous muscial theatre can be.

So not good. And I love how they reverbed "to beeeee" to hell and back in an attempt to squash an obvious inability to hit that note.
