My parents are seeing Journey's End (i recommended it to them since it was AMAZING) and there are two sets of seats available. The first is First Row Mezz, Center, which I think are better and the others are Row G 3 or 4 seats right of center.

My dad is convinced that it's harder to hear in the Mezz but can anyone who's sat Mez for this show vouch for that? So what do you guys think is better?

Thanks a lot!

Cages or wings? Which do you prefer? Ask the birds. Fear or love, baby? Don't say the answer Actions speak louder than words. (Tick, Tick... BOOM!)

Hey there!

I'm attending a performance of JOURNEY'S END this coming Tuesday evening. From what I gather, your folks are better off in the Mezz. because they won't be obstructed by 'bobbleheads' (i.e.: the other theatergoers in front of them), and b) They can have a full view of the set (elaborate and great as it supposedly looks). I hope this helps. Again, I'm seated dead center of the front mezzanine. I think it overhangs Row G or H of the Orchestra. Nevertheless, here's to their enjoyment.

Best,
- Mike

Mealz,

I would recommend the closer seats in the orchestra, the lighting is quite dark. When you're close, it feels like you are in the trenches with the soldiers :)

Hi.. i work at the B, and each location has it's benefits. First row mezz, perfect view, outstanding acoustics, overhangs Row J Orch. Row G, slighly off the side, also "house seats", very close but not a very high incline. A tall person in front of you may be a problem. And, there's always the free "infra red listening devices". Good luck. I would take 1 st row mezz.

I saw the play this afternoon and have to agree that the lighting is quite dim. The closer to the stage the better.
