Hey Everyone,

As some of you may know, I am coming to NYC (If a BIG EARTHQUAKE IN SF does not happen first, we have had three good size quakes on the same fault three days in a row) December 26th-Jan 5th.

Here is my show agenda:

Wed December 27th
2pm Matinee>>>> The Drowsy Chaperone or The Color Purple (have not decided yet)

8pm Evening>>>>> Mary Poppins

Thursday December 28th
8pm Evening>>>>>>> Tarzan

Friday December 29th
2pm Matinee>>>>>> The Wedding Singer
8pm Evening>>>>>> Little Dog Laughed

Saturday December 30th
All day The Coast Of Utopia
2pm Matinee and 8pm Evening Performances

Sunday December 31st
3pm Matinee>>>>>>> Company

Monday January 1st
2pm Matinee>>>>>>> Spring Awakening

Tuesday January 2nd
7pm Evening>>>>> Grey Gardens

Wednesday January 3rd
8pm Evening>>>>>> The BIG VOICE: God or Merman

Thursday January 4th
8pm Evening>>>>>>> Regrets Only

Friday: Return Home to SF!

Most of the shows like : Avenue Q, Spamalot, A Chorus Line, Hairspray, Altar Boyz and other big shows, I have already seen here in SF or will be coming to SF soon and maybe have already seen on Broadway.

Will anyone else suggest other shows to see or other things to do while I am in NYC! Ihave been there before, but this will be the longest I have ever been there. Usually it is like 3-5 days I am staying 10 days. Also, if anyone knows if ANY of these shows are already SOLD OUT please let me know. I have not gotten tickets for any of these shows yet, mainly because I am a student and want to see what cheap tickets I can get (rush and TKTS).

Thanks in advance!

Jovie

Jovie,

I can tell you from my experience last year that that week of shows will be hard to get tickets for some of the more popular show. However, since you can do student rush you might have more luck. I just remember that TKTS had barely nothing the week after Christmas. So that's why this year I decided to go in February after the madness of the holidays has diminished.

It's a great time to be in NYC, but unfortunately half the world is there and it's a little annoyingly chaotic, especially in Times Square. I'd suggest going there at non-peak hours...or just avoiding it as much as you can.
