MARY TESTA! She would be awesome! She is an amazing singer, moves well, and can really do the comedy. She would be absolutely perfect for the role!

Mary Testa reminds me of Martha Reilly, who plays Rosie in the Canadian production.

They did yank her out! She left a little less than a month ago. Karen Murphy is her replacement. So, since she's out of that show, let's bring her on in!

annie would be a better donna not rosie... i think mary testa is an awesome choice for that role or maureen moore.

Yeah, I can totally picture Annie as Donna, but they gave it to Hoty and Annie has the comic chops to pull of Rosie.

I love Judy Kaye!!! I wished that Mary Testa would never leave 42nd Street, she is so perfect in her role, but I guess it was time for a change!

Gabby Jones, who played Rosie in Toronto and on the 1st National is thin like Annie and she is great. Her replacement in Toronto, Deaan something, is thin too.
