I know that in November, she did a show @ Joe's Pub. I'd love to see her back in something on Broadway, though.
She did "The Highest Yellow" at the Signature Theatre in Virginia in Fall 2004 - a new musical by Michael John LaChiusa.
She is so overrated. Her voice is a very good quality be but never does anything with it and just sings every note the exact same way and never fluctuates expressions.
I like her singing but she's given some very strange interviews over the years where she gives the impression that she's not all that interested in the sort of work she does.
"Rags" is her best song.
She also gives a great sound to Pocahontas.
She opens in Candide this weekend in NYC.
*edit* OOPS - I thought this was a thread about Judy KAYE...LOL...

Loved Judy in SHE LOVES ME at the Roundabout. Started a craze for me that lasted until she got preggers and left Sunset in L.A.
Then Alice came along.
brilliant as Betty in 'Sunset Blvd'. Updated On: 3/1/05 at 08:48 AM
I think Judy Kuhn is on a semi-"hiatus" while she's being a mom. I saw her in METROPOLIS in London and SUNSET BOULEVARD in L.A. And, of course, I have her recordings on RAGS, CHESS, METROPOLIS (cassette only) and her July Styne album. I met her in London and she seemed very nice, if a little worn-out. It was right after the show and she was starving. Her parents were really friendly.
Who replaced here in the revival of SHE LOVES ME and then recorded the role?
Diane Frantantoni replaced Judy Kuhn in the Broadway production of She Loves Me. I saw it, and she was good. Actually I liked the whole production.

None of you mentioned Les Mis... She WAS the OBC Cosette, right? Regardless, I like her voice, even if she doesn't like her job... How many people truly do like their jobs anyway?
I'm a huge Judy Kuhn fan, but I felt that Alice was a better Betty. I'm dissapointed that they never recorded Alice in the role.
