Heard a rumor that while the Wicked tour is in Cleveland, Julia will be departing early from the Cleveland stint to perform on Rosie's cruise for a few weeks. Does anyone know if this is true and if so what her last date with the show is here in Cleveland? Wanna be sure to catch her in it...
also, anyone know who'll be replacing herduring that time? Just her understudy on the tour or are theyr throwing another name in there?
Thanks!
yes it is true. she will be out the entire last week of the stop. not positive on her last day as i was only told the last week of the stop hahaha.
during the time she's gone i'm sure they'll just be rotating victoria and maria in and out of the role as they've done when julia has been out for a few consecutive shows.
but she will be coming back to the show, right?
I believe so. I think she's honoring a commitment she had before she went on tour.
I don't know a thing about Victoria, but the show is in very good hands with Ms. Eberline.
yes she will be coming back. it's just a week vacation to do rosie's cruise and then she's back until september.

Well, darn! I was going to try to go on July 3, the only Monday performance and my only day off. Oh well. Anyone know her last performance date in Cleveland?
I was told from a friend that Julia's first day gone will be July 1st, as Rosie's cruise starts on July 2nd and she wants to have a day at home before switching gears...
BwayTheatre11, when I was at Playhouse Square yesterday morning there was still a single ticket available for the June 22nd 2:00 performance. There's also SRO for $27.50 (behind the last row on the floor and the last row of the theatre) available at this point for many days, as the SRO tickets were supposedly just added.

Both Maria and Victoria are amazing! They have beautiful voices and are great actresses as well :)
Victoria Is Great! Shes a powerhouse, her bright voice is a great change!
Does she usually NOT do Sun MAT performances? All of my friends who have seen the tour in Detroit the last two weekends have had Victoria. I'm going this weekend I hope Julia's there.
well julia has been out on vocal rest for the past week of so, but she tries to do every show.
ok look victoria (after many you tube videos) doesent do it for me , she screams
she has a range yes, but she has no technique and her acting is horrible, she has the voice yes but like wheres the technique? i didnt see elphaba in her at all , she didnt stay true to the character and vocally she ddint do it for me , im sorry
im a maria boi, shes got it down packed lol
but ive always been a SHOSHANA, AND KRISTY CATES boi
those are my elphabas and will always be
dont you people know anyting about acting or voice, i mean seriously i feel like peopple are clueless,
go to BROADWAY THEATRE PROJECT or something
maybe you will learn something there
or take some acting classes in ny or voice lessons, you will learn what the real buisness is all about
im not a nice person i know
Julie was gone Sun Night as well... but the cast says she's in town. I really want to see her. For everyone who is longing to see her in other cities, beware. Although, I hear both understudies are brilliant.

I'm seeing the tour on Thursday, and I will be very dissapointed if she's not there since she IS the only reason I bought tickets...
If I did get an u/s though who should I hope for, Victoria or Maria?

I haven't seen Maria, but I don't believe you will be disappointed with Victoria. I have seen Shoshana, and I thought Victoria was better. I loved her character. And her voice was really great.
justchillin, i'm pretty sure she'll be in on thursday.

I really hope you do get to see Julia, because she is really incredible. Even sick, she was brilliant.
I saw Maria last night, and I thought she was fabulous despite what I had previously heard about her. I'm seeing it again on Sunday and I would definately would not mind seeing her again.

Does anyone know how many times she's been out in Detroit so far?

Also, Holly Therese where did you sit? I've never been to the Masonic and I'm trying to figure out how good my seats are...
