Did anyone hear if "The Boy Friend" is going to be at Goodspeed next summer? Did anyone see Meredith Patterson as Polly? Is she returning to the show? Is it coming to Broadway?

There is a post about her now. She also played Peggy Sawyer on 42nd Street, although Kate Levering was the original Peggy.

I know that. But then why are we calling it "Julie Andrews' The Boyfriend @ The Goodspeed?" It's not as if she wrote it. Unless she's producing this one.

It's a remount of the production she directed at the Bay Street Theater last summer.

Yes, it's going to be at Goodspeed next year. Then a national tour will follow (don't know if Patterson is involved in that though)...

But Julie is involved because she directed the revival (if you call it that i guess) and she was the star of the original...

Not to mention the fact that her ex-hubby Tony Walton did the sets, and her daughter Emma Walton runs the Bay Street Theatre where it was first mounted.
