Julie Andrews Directed Boyfriend in Boston-Error in Piece

Rob did his usual excellent job in letting us know about this production in Boston. The "written piece" Rob links us to is problematic. The "author" of this piece, R. Scott Reedy, refers to Julie Andrews as an Academy Award Winner for THE SOUND OF MUSIC. Do these people not check their facts, or simply make them up as they go along? Of course, Ms. Andrews' one and only Oscar was for MARY POPPINS. :)

Most people think that she won an Oscar for THE SOUND OF MUSIC. Probably, because she should have. But, you're right, most people writing critique, today, do no fact checking. One of the reasons I don't bother reading them is because I was always finding incorrect factual information in them.

He is also the guy who posted that Marc Shaiman hated Harvey in Fiddler. Even made up a quote. ( not true and Marc let him have it). he also has reviewed many shows and then later lets on that he never saw them. This among other things..
