hey I was wondering if anyone else was planning on going to the Julie Andrews signing at Books Of Wonder this Saturday October 10th. My friend and I are going but we're unsure of what time to show up. They start passing out numbers when they open at 10am and when I called to ask if they expected people to line up before that the woman told me she wasn't at liberty to say, whatever. I was a little miffed by that considering I was asking for her to speculate something. arg. Anyway my friend and I are thinking about showing up at 8am, but I'm super paranoid and might come even earlier.
I know she did a signing at B&N on Tuesday and when I asked them about it a week ago the guy said that people had called asking and said they were driving in from out of state to come to the signing.
I hate taking chances on this kind of stuff because I'd never forgive myself if I missed out on meeting Julie freakin Andrews. So I guess I'm just wondering what you all think is early. Should I go at 8am? Is that early enough ya think???
thanks in advance for the input

I met her tonight at a signing out in Huntington. The line was pretty long and we waited about two hours. It was worth it. Julie was lovely! (so was her daughter Emma)

It is just amazing to know that she was barely 20 when she came to New York to star in My Fair Lady. What a fabulous career she has had.
