I am so happy to hear this. She is amazing and It's about time that she receives this. I believe at the acadamy awards she will receive this award. February is when they come on.

To clarify:

The Hollywood union publicists have chosen Academy Award winner Julie Andrews to receive their Lifetime Achievement Award.

Variety reports that Andrews was tapped for the honor for her career in film, television and theatre. The beloved actress, who recently hosted PBS' "Broadway: The American Musical" series, will be presented with the award Feb. 22, 2005, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The awards presentation is part of the International Cinematographers Guild's 42nd annual Publicists Awards Luncheon.
