July 4 weekend Rush Question

I couldn't find a thread on this, sorry if I missed it. I am wondering if anyone has any experience rushing on a July 4 weekend. I've heard that it's generally a slower week for Broadway (summer-wise anyway), so was wondering if my chances will be better for getting rush tickets. I am looking to rush this Sunday, and was hoping to get tickets to Les Miserables. Since the box office opens at 12 that day, I was wondering if I would even have a chance if I get there at 10 AM or so? I usually don't try the rush lines where I would have to stand more than 2.25 hours, that's just where I draw the line. So I am debating if I should give this a try this Sunday, or if I should just get TKTS tickets. And since we are on that topic, does anyone know how much the TKTS tickets for Les Miserables usually are, and where they are? (I know that it's different everyday, but just looking for general info to know what to expect)
Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Tonight, TKTS for Les Mis was $60 a piece for rear mezz. Last week I got them for $75 for 9th row orchestra! So it varies.
