I was talking about this with a friend the other day...
Who would you like to see in a revival of Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum?

Okay, well... I had said that Nathan Lane would be fantastic... then I found out that there was a revival and he was in it... perhaps it's too soon to be asking this question... oh well...
I was going to tell you that last night, but thought you might figure it out.
But gender swapping worked in that production too...with Whoopi Goldberg doing a stint as Pseudolus after Nathan Lane left.

Wow... that's highly amusing... thanks for making me laugh this early in the morning :)
I truthfully wouldn't want to see a revival for this. I thought it was a really odd musical... I watched it on video becuase I love Latin, and thought it was awesome that they put my two fav subjects together... Latin and music.
But I wasn't really all that excited after it was over. It was pretty funny, but I didn't like the singing @ all. I actually couldn't listen after a while.
Sorry if this offends you

Kangaroo -- I wouldn't be offended by your opinion of any show. That's part of what's fun about theatre. Some people like it, some people don't. You're completely justified in your dislike. :)
I've worked on Forum before and I think it can be a marvelously fun show to do. It's ALL in the casting. :) Be willing to have a good time with whatever part is thrown at you.
