Posted: 8/28/05 at 8:06amOk. Idina was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! She messed up a little bit in the beggining, but it was fine, because she made a joke out of it. Like for instance, she couldnt hit the last note of "Take Me or Leave Me" (which was amazing anyway). Wow, she had sooo much energy. She told everyone that her dad was there, so she was a little nervouse. She sang some songs from her album (Penny, Here), and they were amazing. Then she took us back into her life and started to talk about her family, singing in school, her sister, and her days as singing as a wedding singer. It was hilarious. She did it with a Long Island accent and everything. After she did that (which was like a 15 minute part), she sang one of her favorite songs from RENT! She sang I'll Cover You. It was amazing. Then she took her digital camera and took some pictures of the crowd for her website. I think I was in one of them:) She sang some more songs, and then said she would sing a song from Wicked. She said "I dont know if all of you know this but I was in Wicked and its about the Wicked Witch of the West who falls through a hole at the end of the play. And I actually did fall through a hole at the end of the play. It was my third to last performance, and it wasn't exactly how I planned it to end." So she talked about being rushed to the hospital, and how she had to go home in scrubs because she came to the hospital in her witches costume. Any way the concert was amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!YAY IDINA!!!!!!!!!I have pics to be updated sooon!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted: 8/28/05 at 9:04amShe also turned one of the songs I had most in musical theatre ( On mY own) it made it very very enjoyable complete with long island accent in all. That show was unreal. Not a ton of little kids and for them ost part a great crowd. had a blast.

so, i took the drive up to boston last night to see her, and it was So much fun! i saw her concert at the zipper last december, and basically she uses the same "act", but changes things up enough (and is spontaneous enough) to make it fabulous every time! because the tables were so close to the stage, there was a lot of audience interaction, which was great!
and, as always, she looked INCREDIBLE and sounded amazing 
the whole evita thing was asked and her respose was: "WHAT? EVITA? where do you get this stuff?!"
overall, it was a great night! she did mention that now she and her band are gearing up for new york, but taking a break first. SO, hopefully that means that she'll be coming home soon for all of us to see her again here!

OMG, I wish I was there! It sounds so awesome, I can't wait to see the pics. She's such a cool person, it's good that everyone is realizing that. Hey, she hasn't mentioned her husband, is he with her? I'm sure he is, I just wanted to check. Anyway, glad you had fun!
