Just wondering...

Since I've heard Kerry Butler sing some pretty high notes (the highest I've ever heard her sing was Miracle Brothers in which she hit a high B-flat), is she a soprano? That high B-flat shocked me, but then I remembered the original BatBoy cast album in which she sang in the chorus and hit some of the really high notes in it. I'm thinking she is, but I'm just wondering if anybody knows...

Um...didn't you just kind of answer your own question?

Anyone who can hit a high B flat is definitely a soprano, Josh, and a first soprano, at that.

Sorry. I answered my own question...
My thing is it sounded like she REALLY hit it instead of her just faking it like some singers I've heard of, because I've mostly heard her get up to a high F, thus THINKING that she was a mezzo-soprano. She nailed a high G when she closed out the "ABC Daytime" concert at New Amsterdam. Before Miracle Brothers I hadn't heard her get that high, but I figured out that she was a part of the off-stage chorus vocals for BatBoy, and I bet she hit some of the really high notes.
