Isn't it though? I have to say that I prefer Kristin's operatic, classical voice to that of the kind of voice she has used on Broadway. This is not to say her belting/cutesy voice is bad...it can be a bit too nasal for me at times.

I'm just glad to see that Kristin doesn't feel so pigeonholed into one area of singing, as so many classical/opera singers are pretty much pressured to stay with ONE type of singing and/or performance arena (i.e. opera/concert hall). I can't wait to hear of the day that Kristin is cast in a major opera like La Traviata or even something like Susannah.

Lucky you, if you're going to see the Concert at Kennedy Center. I hear she performed at the opening of Milennium Park here in Chicago, but it was an invited audience.

This is a wonderful clip - we saved it to our home computer - but I gotta say, as much as I love KC, NO ONE sings this song better than Barbra Cooke...on the original recording, she is amazing...

OMG! That was amazing. I think anyone who can sing that song at all while hitting the right notes is very talented. If I tried, I'd end up fainting from lightheadedness.

The concert will surely be amazing, this girl has some talent. Amazing amazing amazing...all I can say. Carnegie Hall will be awesome.
