I'm trying to find that out from my NYC expert, since I'm a Carnegie Hall newbie myself.
Got first night tickets...First Tier Box 63...looks pretty darn close to the stage so I'm happy.
Wish I could do both nights but just can't swing it.

Acoustically the only seats to avoid at Carnegie are the Dress Circle/Grand Tier seats. I forget what this level is called in Carnegie. It is the level above the 2nd Tier Boxes.
Because the balcony overhangs this level, the sound isn't as mixed as the rest of the theatre. It has trouble getting under the overhang.
For the most bang for your buck, try the front balcony as center as possible. The sound just rises in the hall and hits you in a lovely way.
I bought the cast recording in Stockholm...I had the choice of the full recording (in Swedish)or highlights, and like an idiot bought highlights.....
I just can't imagine seeing this in English....but then at least I'd understand it

Why is this coming when I'm moving to a different part of the country?! ARGH! This will be wonderful.
Now if only they would announce the rest of the cast.
