Kate Shindle on NBC'S THE APPRENTICE

Hey Guys-

The final episode of the APPRENTICE is on right now, and the final 2 contestants (Kelly and Jennifer) had to manage charity events. Kelly did the Alzheimer's association, and Jennifer did a "Read To Achieve" charity , but it was a charity basketball game, and KATE SHINDLE sang the national anthem! We heard the last like 4 bars, and then a shot Donald Trump smiling and applauding. She was great.

Just figured I'd let you guys know.

Kate Shindle's a cool chick. She was a tireless advocate for AIDS awareness and education during her year as Miss America.

I saw her in the tour of Cabaret and was *very* impressed (and surprised)

Yeah, as soon as I saw Kate I started screaming "OMG! That's Kate Shindle" and grinning like a nut. This of course led the rest of my family to stare and say "who????"

Mattio, you are of course correct that Kate Shindle continues to work tirelessly for AIDS causes. I just mention Miss America because it is when I first became aware of her. Anyhoo, LOVE her! I thought it was terrific that she got to do Cabaret on Broadway after she was on tour, I only wish it hadn't been so brief.

I only saw the last hour of the Apprentice, but I taped the beginning. I will have to look for her.
She really is amazing, and so sweet.
