This is a musical based on the life of Aimee Semple McPherson, I think. Christine Ebersole was attached to the project, then bowed out.

Many years ago I thought she might make a good Esther Smith in "Meet Me In St. Louis". I believe a Broadway incarnation of the Judy Garland classic did happen not too long ago.

I still think Kathie Lee could be perfect (if I can't get Melanie Griffith) for my musical version of Myra Breckenridge. :) Susan Lucci is my third choice.
