Chalfant was BRILLIANT in this ......
From Playbill.com:
"Original Off-Broadway cast members of Margaret Edson's Wit will perform a staged reading the work Nov. 21 celebrating MCC Theater's 20th anniversary season.
Leigh Silverman (Well, Danny and the Deep Blue Sea) directs the event to take place 7 PM at the Lucille Lortel Theatre — where the Off-Broadway troupe is currently in residence.
Original star Kathleen Chalfant (Angels in America) will star along with cast members Hope Albrecht, Brian J. Carter, Walter Charles, Paula Pizzi, Ali Steinberg and Helen Stenborg.
Perhaps the most successful show in the company's history, Edson's 1999 Pulitzer Prize winner Wit debuted Off-Broadway Oct. 6, 1998 at the Union Square Theatre under the direction of Derek Anson Jones. Kathleen Chalfant, Brian J. Carter, Walter Charles, Alec Phoenix, Paula Pizzi, Daniel Sarnelli, Helen Stenborg, Alli Steinberg, Lisa Tharps comprised the original cast. Judith Light (seen in this season's Colder Than Here) would later replace Chalfant in the lead.
MCC will next present 20 — its fall benefit event featuring plays written by Eric Bogosian, Richard Greenberg, Peter Hedges, Neil LaBute, Terrence McNally and Doug Wright starring Lauren Ambrose, Jason Biggs, Zoe Caldwell, Julianna Margulies, Amanda Peet and Marian Seldes."

Wow, I haven't heard anything about Wit for years and this week I've heard two things, this reading and my cousin was cast in a production of Wit to take place next year. Strange.
