Loved her voice.
Sad.
May she Rest In Peace. The MGM ranks are looking very thin these days. Who's left? Mickey Rooney, Debbie Reynolds and...?

Don't foget Elizabeth Taylor, who had a lengthy stay (16 years) at MGM.
And Jane Powell!
My dear friend John Ericson, star of many MGM dramas in the early 50s (and the evil Nazi in "Bedknobs and Broomsticks") who did several films with Ms Taylor is stile hale and hearty in his 80s, living happily in retirement out in New Mexico.
Very few of the old MGM folks left. Most of them were child or teen stars:
Mickey Rooney
Jane Powell
Debbie Reynolds
Elizabeth Taylor
Margaret O'Brien
Esther Williams (age 88 )
Lena Horne (who will be 93 in June)
Luise Rainer (who turned 100 in January!)
Jackie Cooper
Leslie Caron
Betty Garrett (age 90)
Angela Lansbury
Russ Tamblyn
Marge Champion
Dean Stockwell
... I think I just ran out of names.
Clearly less starts than there are in the heavens.....
*cries*
Still, more than I remembered.
