Anyone see them there tonight? Was there major security? Did she buy tickets in surrounding seats so no one would be near them, etc.? So interesting to see that Katie would take Suri to such a public place as they usually try and keep her sheltered.
I know stars are at Broadway often (I've seen Kevin Bacon twice, etc.) but Katie seems like an untouchable, especially under the constant supervision she's received since being with Tom Cruise.
Did she do student rush this morning? I know that topic has been popular as of late. :-P
how convenient...Dianetics is right next door.
Tom let them go because the Scientologists were right next door.

I wonder if that guy in the mask who's been at the TKTS line every day was there tonight.
"SPEND MONEY ON BROADWAY, NOT SCIENTOLOGY," his sandwich board reads.
Just off topic for a moment, has Katie pulled out of All My Sons?

Oh Anonymous.
I wonder if they'll have one of their monthly raids outside the Schoenfeld when All My Sons begins (or at the Hirschfeld for A Tale of Two Cities, because isn't Barbour a Scientologist as well?).
When I saw the thread topic, my mind immediately went to the Scientologist protestors wearing the V masks. They're actually pretty friendly people.
Don't you all know Suri loves NYC. It is only natural she sees Broadway shows.

Rosscoe - Why would she have pulled out? She's supposedly one of its main draws.
Ha, mentioning Tom Cruise makes a side banner ad to appear about him.
perfectliar,
There was a story in te Aussie press a day or so ago, saying that she had pulled out of the broadway production of "All My Sons", cause Cruise had no control over fans and she was once again with child.
How old is this kid? Why would you take a 2(?) y/old to the theatre? Ridiculous.
Because she loves New York OF COURSE. Suri is very advanced for her age, she even has an eye for fabrics.

This past spring I sat right behind Tom and Katie at Country Girl. They were very nice and warm towards those that approached them, and it appeared that they bought four seats, one of which was empty next to Tom, and then the other was occupied by who I'm assuming was a manager or someone next to Katie. Tom started the standing ovation, and they were wonderful audience members.

Tom is that you?
There wasn't really heightened security but their security people did hang out in the lobby and in the back of the orchestra during the show while the paparazzi all sat outside waiting for them to leave.
They apparently also bought a couple seats around them to be empty so no one would be sitting next to them.
And Megan Mullaly was there as well last night which I actually cared more about.
i love the crazy "V" Scientologist protestors. I've seen them twice while going to "In The Heights".
P.S. Seems like everyone always sees celebs at the shows but I've never seen anyone.

My thoughts exactly. Although, when I saw Mermaid there was a family across the aisle from me who had two children - a little boy who could not have been older than 3, and an infant. Thankfully they were both quiet throughout the show (they were probably asleep), but seriously? A babysitter has to be cheaper than a Broadway ticket.
There's a video clip of it on TMZ.
OT - 2 years old isn't too old to still be drinking from a bottle, but I find it strange that Suri always seems to have a bottle in her mouth whenever she is photographed in public. They might want to find another way for the poor thing to deal with her stress!
Disney doesn't have an age restriction. If the 2 year old is quiet - who cares?
For a child of normal development, two is too old to still be drinking primarily from a bottle. Get a sippy cup.
Anyway, she always has it is because it's filled with some Scientology jungle juice. Doctors all agree rots children's teeth and can cause malnourishment, but clearly a pedophilic science fiction writer knows more about what's best for children's health than, you know, experts.
