Kelli O'Hara's Final Show

Kelli O'Hara's Final Show

Kelli O'Hara's Final Show#1

I was wondering if tonight or tomorrow is Kelli O'Hara's last performance in South Pacific. Some sources have said tonight, while others tomorrow.

Regardless, best of luck to her!

I was under the impression that it was tonight and the understudy's going on tomorrow

"Osnes replaces Kelli O'Hara, who will play her final performance on March 7 prior to taking a maternity leave, as she is expecting her first child with husband Greg Naughton in July. O'Hara is scheduled to return to the production on Tuesday, October 6."

I actually went (and tonight definitely was her last show). She did an incredible job, as did the rest of the cast! It was my first time seeing the show too and I loved it! I was very impressed that she still does cartwheels despite the fact that she's pregnant.

Anyway, at curtain call someone got to the front row and handed the conductor flowers to give to her, and Danny Burstein gave a speech about her final performance. He said how it's been a joy to work with her and watch her put so much effort in all the time, even while being pregnant. And he cracked some jokes too! Kelli was all teared-up but the end and she gave him a hug. Afterwards, I went to the stage door and met Burstein, Sayre, Samonsky, Szot, and O'Hara.

Overall, it was a great night and such a great show!
