Kelli vs Betsy in The King & I

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere (I couldn't find it if so) but am just wondering if anybody on here has seen BOTH Anna's.

I'm asking as I went to the matinee on Saturday and was extremely disappointed to discover that Kelli O'Hara was off. As I don't live in NYC, I had no option but to see the performance I had booked for and, quite frankly, I fell in love with Betsy Morgan and can't imagine how that rendering of the role could be bettered (I know the piece pretty well and have seen six Anna's prior to Betsy, and she was in the top three).

So just wondering if there are many differences between the two that anybody can point out? Overall, I adored this staging and found it refreshing to see a K&I that looked so different from other productions I'd seen.

Good point. What I mean is that I could not imagine that she could be bettered IN THIS PRODUCTION. Having said that, I don't know that I could choose between her and my favourite two other Anna's. Either way, she is giving a beautiful performance and one that I hope gives her a career boost.
