This is going sound like I'm being ver naive, but was Kelly BIshop a very good dancer? I have listened to the OCR of A Chorus Line forever and I started watching Gilmore Girls a couple of years ago, but it wasn't until recently that I noticed she played Sheila in the original production.
Anyway thanks for any info about her dancing.

Didn't see her do it, but she must have been a great dancer. It is a "dance" show after all.
I saw her do that play about the black sodomite that fakes his way into her apartment and pretends some actors son. Very odd play, but she was very good given the material.

I saw her and she was terrific in every way. There will never be a more perfect Sheila.
The first time I saw the show she was Carole Bishop and I got her autograph. I saw it again when she changed her name to Kelly Bishop and I got her autograph again. I told her the last time I saw the show she was Carole. In her inimitable, deadpan way, she said "Who was better?"
Very funny lady.

I don't know about her dancing as I never was lucky enough to see her.
I didn't know who she was till I saw "Dirty Dancing" and read the credits. That's SHEILA as Baby's mother!
I sat next to her at the pool at Connie Stevens' place a long time ago during a Society of Singers gathering. I thought to myself..I'll bet I'm the only person sitting here who is thinking that I'm sitting next to the original Sheila from "Chorus Line". I was too chicken to say anything, but it was still a thrill. She's got that vibe!
Kudos to her for a long lasting career!
Now, can the adults please smoke!!!

Posted: 8/2/06 at 8:17amI got to meet her while she was playing Pirate Jenny in a production of THREEPENNY OPERA we were doing in Cleveland. She was wonderfully talented, and every bit "Sheila."
