Two things about past posts people wrote.

I thought the Virginia Theatr was a nice theater. I liked the seating for Smokey Joe's Cafe.

Also I think the person who said it does not matter if a theater is 2500 seats or 200 seats is wrong. I have seen some great plays that lost so much in going from a small place to a big one. One of those is Tick Tick Boom. Great at the Jane Street. Horrid at a huge theater when it was on tour. And I liked the cast. It lost alot of its intimacy. That was my biggest problem.

Al. I agree with your comment on the other thread. Gloating would be crass, so it's good you didn't start jumping up and down and flag waving and making it a point to tell everyone how right you were about what the reviewers might think.

Very Well said, John Papa. Anyway, I would like to remind everyone of a little star named Bernadette Peters who initially god bad reviews, yet, is playing to a sold out house every night at the Shubert? And who STILL gives a wonderful performance every night? Yeah.

i'm proud to be a theatre geek. And who doesn't feel affirmed when someone agrees with them, whether it's a critic you usually don't emulate or any body who comes along? If someone is self-affirming, kindly don't feel the need to trumpet your superiority to them. It don't speak to your own self-esteem all that much, champ.
