I just purchased a ticket for me and my mom to go and see the Color Purple, and I am also looking to get the cheap tickets to see Drowsy Chaperone.
I was wondering if they are strict about checking that the tickets are for an adult and a child. I would like to go see Drowsy with a group of friends instead of an adult- would that work or would they be suspicious at a group of 6 teenagers walking in on Kids Night?
No I always go with my friends. They never check. They don't even check when it's two adults.
Thanks!

Might be able to do it, but I guess you are ok with being a Liar.
It's KIDS night on broadway. There's nothing wrong with two KIDS going without an adult. Who would you be lieing too?

I think they may be stricter about entry into the parties and special events than the actual show. If you're skipping that stuff, I wouldn't see any problem at all.
They don't look over your tickets at the theatre. Last year they didn't check tickets going into the party at Madame Toussaud's either.
Yeah, I probably wouldn't go to one of the pre-parties when I go with my friends- I'll do that when I'm actually with an adult :)
And yeah, I'd feel bad lying as an adult for "Kids Night", but we're all kids so I don't feel that guilty. =/
Actually, I have another question now that the pre-parties came up!
How are they? What have they been and the past and are they worth checking out?
Eh, I was dragged against my will last year. It was some kind of scavenger hunt. You got to see the wax museum for free. Then, as you're leaving they have the celebrity table.
Haha okay thanks, I guess I'll just stick to going one night!
"On Kids' Night on Broadway in NYC, young people age 6-18 can see a Broadway show for free when accompanied by a full-paying adult"
They have some really good deals, and also pre-parties and discounts at many restaurants (kids eat free with an adult) as well as cheap parking. Check out the website: www.kidsnightonbroadway.com
