Kim in Miss Saigon

We heard the news about the plans for a Miss Saigon revival in London and a possible film.

I feel that the role of Kim is one of the most difficult ones to cast and they need a fresh innocent face and a magnificent singer for the role.

Why don't we help the producers a bit and post clips here of people you think are suitable for the role. Let's not post the known names here, like all the pop singers we heard before (Charice, Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, Rachelle Ann go), but only new talent.

Today I found this clip, I have no idea who she is and what her age is, but she sings amazingly well and has the right innocence for Kim.

There is also a clip of 3 years ago where she also sounds much younger, but there is something in her face that Lea Salonga had too when she got cast years ago.

I have been in negotiations for some time now to reprise my role as Kim under my drag name Sum Hot Gai. I hope to be able to make an announcement soon. Right now the hang up is that Cam wants me to do London, then take it to Broadway and THEN make the film. That just sounds exhausting to me.

Can you post a clip in which she sounds and looks like a perfect Kim to you?

In the clips I found she sings like Jennifer Hudson, a soul queen.

But let's not focus on established/well known pop singers in this thread anyway.

As I've said, this girl is a singing machine. And don't think she didn't grow up singing every Disney princess song every created. She'd know EXACTLY the style to sing Kim.

I really would love someone of actual Vietnamese descent in the role. Probably a pipe dream though, given Hollywood's usual policy towards casting Asians.
