King and I - YouthCONN Production

YouthCONNection is community theatre group of talented high school and college age students up to 25 years old. It is based in Shelton, CT, although many come from surrounding cities. Since 1983, with their first production being West Side Story, Francesca and Gary Scarpa have been directing the YouthCONN players. YouthCONN has been recognized for their top-notch quality shows and continue to attract sold out crowds each year. They have put on various productions such as Annie, Man of La Mancha, The Sound of Music, Fiddler on the Roof, Hello Dolly, The Music Man, The King and I, Oklahoma!, Brigadoon, South Pacific, Meet Me in St. Louis, Godspell, Anything Goes, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Children of Eden, and Les Miserables.

This year, YouthCONN is performing Rodger and Hammerstein's The King and I. There were performances on July 28th and 29th, but two more are scheduled for August 5th at 8pm and 6th at 7 pm. Neither, but I would like to say how excited I am that something from my town is on BWW.

The only day of me possibly going is the 5th, but that's if anyone else in my family wanted to go. I've been told to see it, so I might just do that.
