Hey guys -
Has anyone done partial view seating for Kinky Boots? Is it worth it? Do you miss a lot? Should I shell out the money to get a different seat?

Hey Sing --
Where are/is the seats/seat you are considering?
I just saw Kinky Boots - sat in Front Mezz - Row A seat 21 (first row of Front Mezz but last seat on the aisle on the far left side as you face the stage). This was not billed as "partial view" but the box seats were all sold and I could not see the far side of the stage (far stage right as you are on stage or far stage left as you face the stage). I have sat in that seat before with no one in the box seats (not the best seats in the house) and I did not have any obstructions.
Some action went on down there - some entrances (by Lola and her "girls" as well as some schtick with Don the big lummox foil for Lola). Other than that, most of the action took place front center stage. Cannot speak for the other side of the house - but I think more action went on in my side of the stage than that side of the stage.
So, I paid FULL price with no notation of obstructed or partial view.

I was a little verklept at first (especially with the constant leaning over), but after a few minutes I just settled in and totally enjoyed the show. I did NOT walk out of there thinking I missed something.
If it is side stuff, you probably won't miss much. If it is a stage height issue, you might miss more. I cannot remember if the stage was elevated to block your view.
That was a problem for people in Row A of Pippin (i.e., the eye line of people sitting in the first row of orchestra is LOWER than the stage and they could not see anything that happened at the back of the stage). Someone posted the issue on this board before my trip in late May.

Not much action takes place up there, but I dont think you would have a problem seeing that action. I like being closer and sometimes you lose a little in the wing when you are on the side.
