I haven't heard anyone mention GUYS & DOLLS or DAMN YANKEES as being part of her performance this past weekend at Kennedy Center which I assume is the exact same show. This is incredibly exciting news! Krakowski is wonderful and I agree that she is way overdue for a solo recording. I'm seeing her show this weekend and couldn't be more excited about it. Apparently she sings "A Call from the Vatican" but I think it would be fantastic if she performed "A Bushel and a Peck" (she gave a hugely sexy rendition in London that puts Lauren Graham to embarrassment), "Adelaide's Lament" and "A Little Brains, A Little Talent." I'd also love to see her perform "I Want to Go to Hollywood" though obviously that doesn't fit with the concept of her show...unless she wants to pay tribute to herself.

Thanks for posting! I'll be in NYC that weekend, and just made a reservation for the 10:30pm show on the 17th. My friends and and I are seeing Linda Eder that night at Town Hall at 8pm. The second it's over with, I'll get a cab and get to Feinstein's ASAP.
The first Broadway show I ever saw was "Starlight Express" and Jane Krakowski was still in the cast. I remember she was so beautiful, and so talented!
Saw the 8PM show tonight....wonderful, hilarious, Jane just a charming, beautiful, talented lady. Hope to see her do MUCH more in the future. Can't wait to hear the recording of this!
I saw the 8pm on Saturday and completely agree. What a wonderful show! Jane was very down to earth, sexy, and hilarious in ways that I didn't expect her to be. Her song choices are wonderful. She did sing "A Little Brains, A Little Talent" which I was very happy about but I must say I was disappointed she didn't sing from GUYS & DOLLS or from NINE (I read on ATC that she performed "A Call from the Vatican" at Kennedy Center). She does a hilarious, new version of "Zip" that Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman wrote for her, and she also performs a really funny "Diamons Are a Girl's Best Friend." I can't wait for the recording either.

I saw Jane Krakowski's 10:30pm show last night and it was fantastic! What a performer.
She has such class, charm, grace, presence and is so F'ing gorgeous! She is so giving of herself to the audience.
Her rap take on "Diamonds" was very, very funny. And, her song on her love of "Englishmen" taking time brought down the house, as was her song on her "handyman." She then did a song from one of Ann-Margaret's tv specials from the 70's, about her being the only girl with 13 men. She was on fire and spot on during all of her songs. She talked about her special song "Tweet" that was written for her, and how the lyrics kept changing. The live cd was recorded last night and will be coming out in December.
She was luscious, luminous, witty, sophisticated.....oh, and did I mention how absolutely stunning she is? Ha, ha....
