Kramer is writing a Normal Heart sequel?

I'm confused by this... Didn't he already write The Destiny of Me which he says is his best play? None of the news about a sequel film seem to mention this...

And I have had three very nice PMs that this will be more about the AIDS epidemic, rather than following on a character as the play did. As much as I dislike a lot of Kramer's writing (A Normal Heart, aside) I worry about the combo of him and Murphy writing this...
