I am not a fan of KC, but I just listened to the recording of WICKED this week, for the first time, and I thought she was much more restrained than she has been, and I felt (having read the book) that what she did was appropriate for the character and this version of the story.
Not a fan, but she's working it, she's getting recognition and work, so I cut her the slack to be what she is, I guess. I just don't plan on going to see her.
BTW, are there any KNOWN dates that KC will be out of WICKED? Because if anyone blew me away on the recording, it was Ms. Menzel. WHAT A VOICE!! And I'd love to see her in the show, without having to clench my stomach muscles when KC is on stage. ...
KC has control of her voice, but IMO it's not an extraordinarily unique sound. But IM ..... that's a voice you would never mistake for another.
I didn't know KC was engaged to MK..... I LOVE Marc! .... sad ... when was this??
