The writers were so lame, making a "defying gravity" joke

it's old now! Kristin is so much better than WICKED. Move on.

I'm glad she made a big joke out of it.

Unlike Idina, Kristin can break out of the awful WICKED reputation thanks to her surperior talent.

Idina... stick to the various RENT and WICKED appearences for your fangirls.

What was with the fangirls screaming when EYEDINA started talking during Rent? Now that was offensive.

Believe me, I totally know where you're coming from, but I happen to like Wicked and Idina. I may disagree with other people's views on the boards, but I don't tear them down with such strong language

huckleberry22, she just made a gesture like she was going to do it, she didn't actually do it. It was funny.

I don't even acknowledge the Idina haters anymore. They don't realize that they're just as obnoxious, if not more so, than the fangirls.

Edit: Make that all the haters who go after specific performers.

I enjoyed the arm pit fart far more than had she tried to get through that lame 'Wicked' reference straight-faced.

I'm not a huge fan of Chenoweth, but she gained brownie points with me when she did that. One of the few laugh out loud moments I had during the show.

I almost forgot about that! That armpit fart was the funniest moment of the broadcast. I couldn't stop laughing. Someone needs to stick a pin in those awful corny jokes they have to read and I loved the way Kristin dealt with it. Hilarious!

She had to make a lame joke using a Wicked reference. When she got to the punch line (I think it was "defying gravity") she did an arm fart to be funny because the joke sure wasn't.

It was sort of like a knee-slapping "Yuk, yuk!" moment after telling the world's oldest knock-knock joke. But it was so unexpected given the time and place, it almost looked completely spontaneous. It was the most refreshing moment of the evening.

Oh My Patti LuPone...people...she made a JOKE. Jeez its not like she made a huge thing about WICKED, she cracked a joke, she knew it was lame thats why she did the arm fart and the audience laughed.
And btw...the Idina hate on this board is getting annoying. Does EVERY thread about WICKED or someone related to it have to go RIGHT to Idina? Your getting more annoying then the fangirls...heres somin that this board needs to learn...MOVE ON!
