Kristin in Wicked

I apologize if this has been asked a hundred times, but does anyone know how long Kristin (and Idina for that matter) will be in Wicked? I heard Kristin is out in May to do an opera--does that mean she will return to the show later in the year, or is she out for good? I am planning a trip to NY this spring, and I would very much like to see the original cast.

She was probably contracted for a year. And she does have a couple conflicts in that time.

im sure she'll come back after the opera...she prob. has a year conflict and she wouldnt leave b4 the tonys

I've also heard she shall return after her spring break- Thats the big reason why Laura Bell Bundy was asked to be the star replacement for Glinda. Idina hasnt set a date yet I dont believe or has any major conflicts like Kristen.

kristen and idina were set to leave in oct. but now i think idina is leaving somewhere in late summer. i dont know about kristin because of all of her conflicts

Just to clarify, Kristin is taking the first week in May off to do Candide with the New York Philarmonic and will return.

kristin is leaving to do an opera for only like a week or so, then she's coming back to the show

Thanks, everyone, for the info. I thought Kristin would be out more than just a week, so that's good. I just want to make sure I plan my trip so I will be able to see the original cast.

I have tickets for Feb 28th and I want to see Idina and Kristen badly. I've been worrying about them no being there since the day I received the tickets as a Christmas present. Does anyone know of any conflicts and scheduled days off for Saturday Feb 28th? Please say no!!!

not that i know of. definatley not idina. if kristin has anything, its news to me.
