I am beside myself this morning....Kristina A Concert Event is finally official for the previously announced dates of September 23 & 24.
Tickets go on sale May 31 and the official website is kristinathemusical.com, although all that's there now is the announcement.
I have to be there...I have to.

Is this the show by the two B's from ABBA?
I've been dying to hear the score.

Yes....although the only official recording, which I have, is in Swedish.
I love it, but I can see how it might be a hard sell on Broadway..the concerts are a great way to gauge interest and give the material some exposure.

The only thing on the website right now is essentially the announcement. If you click on it, it opens an email that allows you to sign up for ticket and cast info when it becomes available
It would be awesome if Helen Sjoholm, who originated the title role in Sweden, would make the journey. Her version (audio only) of 'You Had to Be There" can be found on YouTube...Elaine Paige played it recently on her BBC show. Her original "Du Maste Finnas" is amazing.

I can't believe it has taken so long to get to the stage!
Even if B&B had to cough up $20m they'd barely notice it from their vast personal wealth. How can they have such patience. I'd want the world to hear it if I composed a score as great as this!
