Sorry if this is already old news or has been mentioned elswhere, but icethesite.com is reporting that the concert version of Bjorn and Benny's "Kristina" has been tentatively scheduled for September 23 and 24, 2009 at Carnegie Hall. No mention of casting other than the possibility what Swedish Kristina Helen Sjoholm may repeat her role for the concerts.
I've been waiting for this forever so I hope it comes to pass. The source of the news is reportedly Benny, so even if the dates aren't cast in stone, the fact that it's closer to reality is a nice Christmas present.
what language will they sing? Is this show translated into English?

They'll be performing the translated version.
Yeaaaaah! Bring on Alice Ripley, please.

Alice Ripley was tentatively signed for the role of Ulrika which, no doubt, she will perform amazingly but she is not the type B & B are looking for to play Kristina. It's their M.O. to let nature take its course, believing eventually the perfect person will
show up at an audition and all they have to do is sit back and wait. That's how they backed into Meryl Streep for "Mamma Mia".
