I will be in NYC at the beginning of this run, and I have some questions for anyone who knows about this venue.
It says Stage 1, which appears to be a very small venue.
I am a shorter person, 5'7". Is the audience well raked in this theatre? Is there a particular row that would be better for someone my height?
Also, does this venue provide seat cushions/boosters and listening devices?
Thank you in advance for any information. I am a huge Ava Gardner fan and am very anxious to see this.
The venue has stadium seating. You’ll have no trouble seeing (especially since 5’7 isn’t short and if you used a booster seat you’d be a terrible nuisance to those behind you. But I digress).
The venue is underneath the big NY City Center theatre.
I believe assistive listening devices are required by law but you should look at the City Center website or contact the venue directly to satisfy your answer.

Yes, the seats in NYCC Stage 1 are very well raked
Ermengarde, I completely understand about being a nuisance to others. That's why I do everything to avoid using one.
Spice and Ermengarde, thank you for alleviating my worries!
