L.A. People--1/2 Price tickets for Applause & Sam Harris on Sale!!!

There's been a lot of discussion here about the Reprise! production of Applause, upcoming at UCLA, starring Sheryl Lee Ralph as Margo Channing, Jean Louisa Kelly as Eve Harrington as well as Veanne Cox and Kevin Earley... I think the casting, though perhaps a bit surprising, might just work to the show's advantage. A Margo who can actually sing? Who would have thought? Anyway, the big news is:
1/2 Price tickets went on sale today for 5/14 and 5-15 at Gold Star Events, as well as 1/2 price tickets for Sam Harris' one-man-show on Monday the 16th! The Freud Playhouse is just 562 seats, so you won't be sitting a mile away, even in the back row. Full price tickets available through at www.reprise.org.

ONE-NIGHT-ONLY!
Following his triumphant turn as the Leading Player in PIPPIN, Broadway star and multi-million selling recording artist, SAM HARRIS, returns to REPRISE! for a special Marvelous Musical Monday performance of his one man sensation SAM.

My own PS is that Sam Harris was fantastic in Pippin, but with all the Michael Arden hoopla (deserved!), perhaps Mr. Harris didn't get the attention he deserves. Besides being an amazing all around performer, he was OUT long before the majority of today's openly gay performers left their closets. You go Sam!
