As a huge fan of Caroline, it would be hard for any wins to bother me. However, there was also a monster production of A Little Night Music, that also offerred a lot to the audience. They do a very strange thing by just having two performance categories (lead and supporting) that cover male/female and musical/straight play nominees. Tonya was beyond breath-taking as Caroline, but Mark Harelik also pulled off Cyrano brilliantly - how can you possibly compare the two? Then again, how do you 'compare' creative endeavors anyway?
